Triumph tabs center Nenad Krstic

Triumph Lyubertsy completed the blockbuster signing of Nenad Krstic on Tuesday, inking the center to a two-year deal. Krstic (213, 25) arrives from New Jersey of the NBA where he spent the past four years, but is already a proven commodity in Europe from his time with boyhood club Partizan Belgrade. Krstic averaged 6.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season, when he partook in only 45 games due to injury. His best individual season came in 2006-07, when he posted 16.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game and he has career NBA averages of 11.3 points and 5.7 boards in 226 appearances. Krstic recorded 12.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in the Euroleague with Partizan in 2003-03. At Triumph, he will team with Marcus Goree and Ognjen Askrabic to give the club one of the more impressive frontcourts in the competition.
